swan flight in motion

A swan bends time at the water’s edge,

neck arched like a question whispered to the dark.

One drop falls, the river listens,

circles widening where silence breaks.

Behind it, a pale wing ghosts the air,

a fleeting breath, half-seen, half-dreamed.

Stillness and motion share the same moment,

and the water keeps both, unbroken.
